Control up to 16 axes with advanced motion coordination over a robust and fast Mechantrolink-II or EtherCAT link (available soon). Supports position, speed and torque control, each axis can run complex interpolation moves, e-cams and e-gearboxes. Advanced debugging tools include trade and oscilloscope functions. Multi-tasking controller capable of running up to 14 tasks simultaneously. Open communication: Ethernet built in; Profibus-DP and DeviceNet as options. Motion control cards for Omron PLC's are also available which offer many of the functions of the Trajexia where a stand-alone motion controller is not optimal.
Omron G-Series Servo Motors and Drives
For applications up to 3000RPM, and capacities up to 7.5 KW, network communication is via Mechantrolink-II; EtherCAT will be available soon. Interfaces easily to Omron Trajexia and Omron and other PLC's via I/O or network connection. G-series drives can be configured with a small hand held parameter unit or via laptop running CX-DRIVES, a component of Omrons' CXONE automation software.
Baldor Motion Controllers and Mint Drives
Baldor produces an extensive series of stand-alone motion controllers and servo drives with programmable motion control capability supporting up to 12 axes of control. These motion controllers are configured with Mint, a basic-like multitasking motion language. The NextMove family of stand-alone motion controllers is available in PCI format or panel mount; the MintDrive-II integrates Mint capability into a single axis servo drive. Networking and communications capabilities include Ethernet Powerlink and I/O can be supported through the onboard CAN bus interface. Other open and proprietary industrial networks are also supported. Third party SCADA software such as Labview and Visual Basic can easily share data with Mint-capable controllers via Active X components.
Baldor single axis Microflex, Flex Drive-II, and Flex+ Drive-II servo drives along with the Ethernet Powerlink-enabled Microflex e100 and MotiFlex e100 make up the bulk of Baldors current offering of advanced AC servo drives. Communications features/options include DeviceNet, Profibus-DP and CANopen as well as RS-232/485. A range of DC servo drives and adjustable speed drives are also offered.
Baldor offers a wide selection of high performance AC brushless servo motors, DC servo motors and stainless steel servo motors. Four models of the BSM series of brushless AC servo motors include the low inertia BSM-N series, higher inertia BSM-C Series, stainless steel SSBSM series, and compact package BSM-R Series. BSM25 and BSM33 DC brushless motors, DC servo motors, integrated stepper motor/driver, and servo-rated gearheads are also offered.
Baldor Linear Motors, Gantry, Stages
Baldor provides industry with the widest range of linear motors, linear stages and controls. Linear motors provide direct-coupled motion and eliminate mechanical transmission devices, offering substantial improvements over ball screws, timing belts, etc. The rugged mechanical design provides accurate motion and precision positioning for hundreds of millions of cycles.
Linear motors consist of two parts – a stationary track or "platen" and a moving "forcer". They can be provided as a stand-alone linear motor assembly or as a complete stage – built with a housing or enclosure with linear bearings, limit switches, cable track/carrier, protective bellows and linear encoder in a wide variety of lengths
Baldor's multi-tasking MintMT (Motion INTeligence Multi-Tasking) is a structured BASIC-like prograrmming language that employs "keywords" to make programming of motion control moves easy (ie it has been optimized for motion control solutions), and provides a comprehensive Windows tool with ActiveX components for development of Windows front end applications.
Mint is now one of the most widely used motion programming languages
in the world - used in over 50,000 systems.
Mint is a programmable language that can handle motion, I/O and HMI
tasks. The latest generation of Mint, MintMT, brings multi-tasking capabilities
which can greatly simplify program structure and execution, especially
where motion, I/O and HMI tasks are intermixed. Mint is designed to
be powerful and flexible flexible yet easy to use.
Mint is supported on Baldors NextMove and MintDrive intelligent motion
controllers and drives.
