Photoelectric and Proximity Sensors
Proximity Sensors
Inductive and Capacitive Proximity Sensors in cylindrical, square "flat pack," and special use configurations for use in industrial and harsh environments. Proximity sensors are available to detect all types of metal and many nonmetallic objects.
Twenty four series' of compact, high performance general purpose and specialty photoelectric sensors for use in all types of commercial and industrial applications. Special use configurations are available for film/pet bottle detection, color determination, mark detection, fiber optic, UV intensity monitoring, laser, semiconductor specific, background suppression, indoor, outdoor, and roller conveyor use.
Limit Switches
Twelve series' of heavy duty, industrial and general purpose limit switches for application in all environments. Available features include die-cast housing, various contact and actuator configurations, automotive spec, prewired, miniature, high precision (micron level), and gangable.
Measurement Sensors
Nine series' of displacement measurement sensors using contact, ultrasonic, laser, inductive and LED technology are offered. Measurement ranges extend from millimeters to several meters with accuracies down into the submicron range depending on the technology of the sensor.
ZG and Z500 series laser profiling sensors offer 2D profiling capability. Models allow for up to 70mm wide 2D sampling, 0.2um resolution and datalogging capability. Typical inspection and quality control applications include measurement and logging of door gaps, welds, adhesive beads, and rivet seating.
Ultrasonic and Pressure Sensors
E4PA ultrasonic sensors provide analog outputs for displacement use while 5 series of ultrasonic sensors are also available for presence detection and detection distance settable applications. 3 series of miniature pressure sensors, with and without display/controller and offering discrete and analog outputs are available
Vision Sensors
ZFX, ZFV and ZFV-C Vision Sensors are machine-based, task specific high speed color and monochrome vision systems with integrated display which easily integrate with any PLC. In addition to performing inspection and verification (pattern recognition, size verification, position, counting, brightness, width, text verification and hue) ZFV vision sensors also have character recognition and 2D barcode reading capability. For more challenging applications, Omron also offers multi-camera vision systems.
RFID and Bar Code Sensors
For storage of specific object information by wireless communication, Omron's RFID system reliably processes your data, even under harsh conditions. UHF and HF tags, readers and system components for use with PC and PLC-based automated RFID systems are available for use in industrial and commercial asset and carrier tracking, material handling, and supply chain applications.
Linear and 2D bar code readers are available in embeddable, handheld and industrial packaging. Omron also offers options for reading "pin codes," contact us for details.
